Welcome to AbsoluteOnes
A place to pause, breathe, and explore Buddhist wisdom through meditation, music, books, and art.
I created this space with a simple wish: to make the teachings and practices that guide my life accessible to people around the world. Whether you are new to meditation or returning to your practice, you are welcome here.
About the Teacher
My name is Songchai Promjat, also known by my monastic title, Phra Khrusridhammanusit. I am a Buddhist monk, meditation teacher, and the abbot of Wat Ratchathani in Mueang Sukhothai, Thailand.
I entered monastic life as a novice at the age of twelve and received higher ordination at twenty-one. My journey has included Buddhist practice, studies in philosophy and history, and service as a missionary monk at Wat Thai of Los Angeles.
These experiences have deepened my commitment to sharing Theravada Buddhist teachings in clear, practical language. Through my teaching and writing, I hope to help people bring mindfulness, compassion, and understanding into everyday life.
What You Will Find Here
Meditation for Everyday Life
Step-by-step lessons introduce sitting and walking meditation, body awareness, and noticing thoughts and sounds. Begin at your own pace, with patience and a willingness to return to the present moment.
365 Days of Dhamma Music
This ongoing project is a journey toward 365 original English Dhamma-inspired songs. Each song explores themes such as kindness, gratitude, letting go, or inner peace. You can discover the Dhamma music released so far on YouTube and follow the project as it grows.
Books and Buddhist Stories
My books bring together meditation guidance, Buddhist stories, and reflections on daily life. They invite readers to explore the Buddha’s teachings and consider how wisdom and compassion can shape our choices. Visit the Books page for available titles and Amazon links.
Mindful Art and Printable Resources
Through MindfulThaiStudio, I share Buddhist-inspired wall art, meditation workbooks, and creative printables. These resources help you create a peaceful home space and support a regular mindfulness practice. Explore the collection on Etsy.
Our Purpose
AbsoluteOnes brings these offerings together to encourage a more mindful and compassionate way of living. A short meditation, a thoughtful story, a song, or a quiet moment with art can invite you to pause and pay attention.
You do not need to arrive with a calm mind or a perfect practice. Begin where you are, and take one gentle step at a time.
Thank you for being here. Whether you come to learn, listen to Dhamma music, read, or rest for a moment, you are welcome.
With Metta,
Songchai Promjat
